Recent Toys International is launching its first UK division to help manage the growing demand throughout the UK.

Previously founded in 2001, Recent Toys has experienced substantial growth in the US and Europe with its portfolio of brainteasers and puzzles.

To support the firm’s growth Stephen Woodman has been appointed as managing director to manage the launch of Recent Toys UK.

Woodman previously worked with Coiledspring Games and Professor Puzzle in the UK, and brings a wealth of knowledge on the industry to his new role.

“The UK is an important and exciting market for us and I am delighted that Stephen will lead our business in the UK,” said Guido Lap, president and founder of Recent Toys.

“Stephen has extensive knowledge of the toy and gift industry, with a passion for delivering quality products, outstanding service and building long term client relationships."

Stephen Woodman, MD of Recent Toys UK, added: “I have known the team at Recent Toys for a number of years and love their unique, high quality products.

“I am looking forward to our official launch at Spring Fair and sharing the world’s most fascinating brainteasers with all the visitors.”
