LEGO reportedly raising prices in the UK by 5%

An apparent leaked letter from LEGO UK & Ireland that has surfaced on Twitter suggests that the company will be raising prices by an average of 5% as of January 1st 2017.

The letter cites the devaluation of the pound as the main reason for the hike and continued to say that the company may be forced to put up prices again in the “event of further negative trend”.

LEGO UK have offered no official confirmation of the price hike nor has it commented on the legitimacy of the leak.
