Board Game Club ‘overwhelmed by industry response’ to Christmas Special event

The founders of Board Game Club have been left overwhelmed by the strong show of support the industry has shown for this week’s Christmas Special event.

Response and uptake to the special Board Game Club taking place on Tuesday, December 13th, has been described as ‘phenomenal’.

Accentuate, Bananagrams, Big Potato, Cartamundi, John Adams and Morning have been among the first to sign up with the event and offer contributions for the catering and goodie bags.

They have since been joined by the likes of Hasbro, Thames & Kosmos UK, Drummond Park, Gibsons Games, Esdevium and Coiledspring Games.

“We’re truly overwhelmed,” said Peter Jenkinson, co-founder of Board Game Club.

“Other brands including Mattel, Green Board Games Company and Tactic have also come forward to offer some of their new games for guests to play on the night too.

“We know guests are going to be delighted not only by the fantastic Christmas games menu we have planned for Tuesday night, but also by the bulging goodie bags they’ll be taking home.”

Board Game Club has also revealed it will crown its first Game of the Year at the festive event in London’s West End. The winning game has been identified from hundreds of guest feedback cards completed at the end of every Board Game Club night in 2016.

The Tuesday event is strictly guest list only with a limited number of spaces available. Email to add your name to the list.
