Smyths Toys heads to Gloucester

Smyths Toys is preparing to open a new store in Gloucester, taking over a previous PC World site.

Situated in Eastern Avenue, the toy giant was given the greenlight for designs to covert the building into a toy store.

The move will also see the company create 30 jobs, with an additional 30 around the Christmas period each year.

Supported by Gloucester City Council, councillor Andy Lewis, said: “It is another indication of how well Gloucester is doing,” reports Gloucestershire Live.

"We’re attracting a lot of business to this city which is great."
