Hamleys kicks off Christmas with annual Toy Parade

Hamleys kicked off its second annual Christmas Toy Parade this weekend, which saw TV and film characters including Peppa Pig, Danger Mouse and the Marshmallow Man all join in the fun.

More than 400 children’s characters showed up on the day, such as the Power Rangers, the Teletubbies, Bob the Builder and Paddington Bear, to take part in the 1.5-mile parade, despite the downpours throughout Sunday.

Around 750,000 guests turned up to watch the event in Regent Street and view the entertainment from the stage outside the Hamleys store.
