Tech 4 Kids outlines new sales and marketing hires

Tech 4 Kids has announced a series of changes within its sales and marketing teams as the company prepares for 2017.

Rick Mershon has been appointed as the company’s senior VP of sales, bringing a wide range of experience to the role.

Prior to joining Tech 4 Kids, Mershon worked at Blip Toys, Summit Toys and worked as an independent sales representative at a number of sales agencies.

Elsewhere, Steve Beilman will move over to the position of VP president of international sales.

Graeme Bissett who previously held the position of international sales manager is now joining the marketing department, taking on the responsibilities of marketing manager.

Lastly, also joining the marketing team is Carmela Bucarelli, as senior brand manager and Saoirse Minden, as brand manager.

“There is amazing momentum in the toy industry and Tech 4 Kids recognises this to be the time and opportunity for the company to expand its market share,” said Brad Pedersen, president and CEO of Tech 4 Kids.

“The business has experienced significant global growth over the past couple of years and this has demonstrated the need for the company to further bolster its team.

“We expect to benefit from an exciting new phase of growth in the business and in preparation we are realigning team members into areas of focus, as well as adding additional resources where necessary.”
