Vivid has struck a deal with Headstart to take over the European distribution of its popular Ooshies collectables range.
The new deal will be an extension of the existing relationship with Headstart as it begins work on the Ooshies brand that currently enjoys success in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, Canada and many Asian countries.
Vivid will be taking over the distribution of Ooshies from Flair with effect of January, 1st 2017 and will work with both Flair and Headstart to ensure a smooth transition.
“We believe that Vivid is the right partner for us to grow the Ooshies brand in the UK, France and Germany, “ said David Hendy, executive chairman, Headstart International.
“They have incredible knowledge of the collectables business and the building of collectable brands.”
Mary Wood at Vivid has already outlined the plans for the range for 2017.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for us to grow an established and successful collectables brand,” she said.
“We will be putting together a comprehensive marketing plan encompassing TV, social media and major in-store retail support to drive awareness in the UK with the aim of making Ooshies the number one collectables brand for 2017 and beyond.”
