Starlings Toymaster donates toys to children in Uganda

Starlings Toymaster has donated toys to children in a town in Uganda.

Friend of the store and local builder Mark Welch went out on his second trip to Uganda with a few mates to help out with some more building work to erect a boundary fence.

Before leaving, Welch asked Starlings if it could donate a few toys so he could give them to the children there.

"Of course we were happy to help and sent him off with a suitcase full of LEGO packs," read a statement from the firm.

"As you can tell by the expressions on their faces it was definitely worth it. We really do take items like this for granted."
