Hasbro to celebrate UK launch of Midnight Taboo with Board Game Club takeover

Hasbro Gaming will celebrate the UK launch of Midnight Taboo with a total take-over of Board Game Club on Thursday, November 17th.

Grown-up games fans, press and influencers are invited to the underground games night in London’s West End, to enjoy a range of Hasbro’s ‘after dark delights’.

Joining Midnight Taboo – the brand new adult-rated edition of the popular game – on the exclusive Hasbro Gaming menu is the acting-up party game for adults, Cranium Dark; viral sensation Speak Out and the firm’s brand new Pie Face game, Pie Face Showdown.

“We’ve seen the popularity of games for grown-ups skyrocket in recent years and Board Game Club is a perfect example of this trend – a collective of cool, grown-up games fans coming together for both silly and serious sociable play," said Craig Wilkins, marketing director, Hasbro UK & Ireland.

"It’s the perfect event to launch our new collection of adult games and we’re confident the crowd will enjoy our after dark menu.”

Board Game Club co-founder, Playtime PR’s Lesley Singleton, added: “The Hasbro Gaming take-over is really exciting for us – not only are we welcoming the category leader to our grown-up games night for the first time, but we’re also seeing them actively embrace the adult trend that’s been so popular with our members since the Club’s inception almost three years ago.

"It promises to be a dark, twisted and hilarious evening of adult play!”
