2016 Rubik’s Championships to be biggest event yet

The Rubik’s UK Championship is set to return to Bristol this weekend for the biggest event yet.

Kicking off on Friday November 4th to Sunday November 6th at The Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel, the event is set to have the biggest turn out yet.

During the competition, current UK champion Robert Yau will compete against other speedcubers from 18 different countries.

“We are thrilled to be sponsoring the annual Rubik’s UK Championships for the eleventh year in a row,” Lynette Norris, marketing manager at John Adams Leisure Ltd.

“It’s always great to see the speedcubers from around the world come together to enjoy something they all love – speedcubing. This year promises to be the busiest and most exciting to date and we are looking forward to seeing who comes out on top.”

The Rubik’s UK Open event boasts a traditional 3×3 competition, as well as 2×2 Rubik’s Cube, 4×4 Rubik’s Cube, 5×5 Rubik’s Cube, 3×3 Rubik’s Cube one handed, 3×3 Rubik’s Cube blindfolded and 4×4 Rubik’s Cube using only feet.
