Star Wars and Jurassic Park lose out to Old Fishing Store in latest LEGO Ideas reveal

A Jedi Council play-set and a Jurassic Park visitor centre have been pipped to the post by a spooky-looking fishing store in the latest LEGO Ideas unveiling.

The Old Fishing Store, created by LEGO fan Robert Bontebal was selected from a group of nine models who each reached 10,000 supporters between January and May this year.

The model was chosen over a Star Wars inspired Jedi Council, a Jurassic Park play-set and a Jonny Five LEGO robot.

Pricing and availability of the new building set are not yet available but it now joins a line of play-sets to have emerged via the LEGO Ideas fan creation platform including the LEGO Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Back to the Future and Ghostbusters building sets.
