Hasbro heads to Oxford Street with NSPCC for Family Festival

New West End Company has teamed up with children’s charity NSPCC and Hasbro, for its famous Christmas lights display in London’s Oxford Street.

Hasbro is the official partner of the 57th Christmas Lights Switch-On and Oxford Street’s first Family Festival on November 6th.

During the event, the length of Oxford Street will be closed, while Mr Monopoly will be on a life-size Monopoly board in the middle of the street, where the first 50 people to pass GO will receive a £200 Oxford Street gift card.

“We’re really excited to see Mr Monopoly in action at Oxford Street’s First Family Festival, handing out Christmas treats,” said Craig Wilkins, marketing director at Hasbro UK and Ireland.

“We hope everyone will enjoy the real-life Monopoly experience, and it’s fantastic to be a driving force in this year’s Christmas lights Switch-On and also raise awareness of NSPCC’s Little Stars campaign.”

As part of the festival, there will be interactive attractions for guests to enjoy, including balloon making, face painting, AR photo booths and an interactive Grotto.
