BTHA launches new Make Time 2 Play app

The Make Time 2 Play app is retuning with a fresh update, boasting more than 400 play ideas to help entertain kids during the upcoming half term.

Set up by the British Toy & Hobby Association (BTHA) in 2010, users can tailor the different play ideas to their own needs, choosing between children’s ages, locations, time periods and more.

The free app allows users to save their favourite play ideas and share them with friends via social media, text or email.

In addition, the app now boasts a search bar for kids to look up any themes and more activities to enjoy.

“We’re very excited to launch the new update. It’s a great way for parents and carers to find fun and exciting play activities to keep their children entertained, whilst informing them of the many benefits of play that their children will be receiving when playing,” said Rebecca Deeming, communications and public affairs officer at the BTHA.

“We hope the industry can get behind the campaign to help spread this positive message of play.”

The app is available now to download for both Apple and Android devices.
