Hasbro to bring Cluedo to the stage

Hasbro is developing a stage adaptation of Cluedo that will tour the UK.

The Araca Group, which is also handling the upcoming Monopoly musical, will develop the new play, which is being penned by Jonathan Lynn, the writer and director behind the 1985 Clue movie.

Variety reports that the Cluedo play will debut regionally in the US at Pennsylvania’s Bucks County Playhouse in May 2017 prior to a US national tour, but a UK tour is also planned.

As well as the stage play, a Cluedo movie is also currently in development at Fox.
