TOMY teams with TV presenters Jen Pringle and Olivia Birchenough for World Smile Day

TOMY has teamed with Channel 5’s Milkshake presenters Jen Pringle and Olivia Birchenough to celebrate this week’s World Smile Day.

Together with the celebrity pairing, the firm will visit two UK hospitals as part of its Corporate Social Responsibilities Initiatives.

The toy company will drop into pay the children at Evelina Children’s Hospital in London and The Bramble Ward at Royal Devon and Exeter hospital a visit to host a number of play sessions with some of its best loved toy lines.

Pringle and Birchenough will be in attendance to play with the children and engage in the hosted play sessions.

TOMY plans to capture the day in a short film that will be shared across its social media pages with the hashtag #TomyMakesTheWorldSmile.

Emma Fryer, head of UK marketing, said: “We are very excited to be visiting both hospitals with Milkshake’s Jen and Olivia.

“TOMY’s mission is to make the world smile and we can’t think of a better day to take lots of toys down for the children and hopefully bring many smiles to their faces.”

World Smile Day takes place on the first Friday in October every year and encourages participants to perform an act of kindness and help one person smile, in order to celebrate the day.
