US: Moose Toys’ first Shopkins Golden Ticket winner named

The first winner of Moose Toys’ national hunt for a Golden Ticket trip to the Shopkins headquarters in Australia has been named.

Eight year old Sophie from Portland, Oregon beat the one in 1.3 million odds to find the first if five Shopkins Golden Tickets hidden across the country.

The lucky youngster will now embark on a trip to Melbourne, Australia for a once in a lifetime Shopkins experience and a trip to the Shopkins headquarters, all courtesy of the collectable toy line’s creator, Moose Toys.

Sophie and her guest will be greeted by a cast of Shopkins characters before being whisked off to a private Shopkins Party, where they will meet the designers from the world of Shopville.

Along with a trip, Sophie will also receive the Ultimate Shopkins Backpack, filled with items that have never been released in the US.

The Shopkins Golden Ticket Hunt is a nationwide treasure hunt that kicked off in August and will continue to run until all five of the tickets have been discovered.

“The entire company is thrilled to invite its most passionate fans to the home of Shopkins in Melbourne through our first ever Shopkins Golden Ticket Hunt,” said Paul Solomon, co-CEO of Moose Toys.

“We are excited to host Sophie for this once in a lifetime experience and celebrate the fifth season of Shopkins.”

Four Shopkins Golden Ticket remain hidden inside Shopkins Season Five two-packs, five-packs and 12-packs across the US.
