Fans can now customise their own 3D printed Skylanders character

Fans of Activision’s Skylanders will now be able to design and 3D print their very own toy character.

Using the Skylanders Creators app, players will be able to design their own characters, order a 3D-printed version, and then upload them to other sites such as YouTube.

Users will also be able to print their character on trading cards and t-shirts.

Toys For Bob cofounder Paul Reiche III, said: “I can’t wait to see what people do. They’ll take their characters and put them up on Instagram and Facebook. I want to make sure we get a chance to show those to everyone,” reports VentureBeat.

The app is set to launch in Europe on October 14th, and is free to use.
