Hamleys to open first store in Birmingham this month

Iconic toy shop Hamleys is making its move to the West Midlands this month, with the opening of a new Birmingham store.

The more than 250 year old toy store has its flagship in London but has detailed plans to open a new branch at Resorts World Birmingham in late October.

The store will open on Friday, October 21st to coincide with Resort World’s first birthday.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of the world famous toy shop, Hamleys at Resorts World Birmingham,” said Ian Bennett, operations director for Resorts World Birmingham.

“The store will be the perfect addition to our already strong family offering.”

Hamleys was founded in 1760 by William Hamley and has been selling toys under the iconic Hamleys brand name for over 250 years.
