Wicked Cool Toys unveils new Teddy Ruxpin

Wicked Cool Toys has unveiled the new Teddy Ruxpin at this year’s Fall Toy Preview in Dallas.

A best-selling toy in the 1980s, the new look Teddy Ruxpin will launch in autumn 2017 and boasts a raft of new tech enhancements.

While the original 1985 bear told stories through a rear-loading cassette based system, the new Teddy Ruxpin comes with bluetooth technology, LCD eyes and over 40 animated expressions that are synched to the stories.

Kids can start, pause and fast-forward stories by using touch sensors in his hands, and by connecting to a free app, pre-schoolers can read along to the story Teddy is telling on their smart device. The app is in-sync with Teddy, flipping the pages as Teddy reads.
