Mattel inks stationery deal with Maped Helix

Stationery supplier, Maped Helix, has teamed up with Mattel to launch its new Fun to Learn brand.

The collection will boast new products featuring Mattel’s children’s brands, including Hot Wheels, Bob the Builder, Barbie and Thomas & Friends.

The School Essentials Packs will be the first to launch, with each pack containing scissors, colouring pencils, a ruler, eraser, sharpener, stencils and a jumbo pencil.

“It’s an extremely proud moment for us to launch the Fun to Learn range with Mattel’s iconic brands,” said Gray Richmond, MD at Maped Helix.

“We’ve secured four fantastic licenses, opening up our products to a new consumer demographic.

“Barbie, Hot Wheels Thomas & Friends and Bob the Builder are iconic brands and alongside these, we will continue to innovate and deliver a wide-range of fun educational products.”

The selection of items have been designed for kids aged from two to six, and will be available from March 2017.

Gemma Daniels, associate licensing manager at Mattel, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Maped Helix on their exciting new Fun to Learn range.”
