Flybrix lets users create drones out of LEGO bricks

Fans of LEGO will now be able to build their very own drone out of the little bricks, thanks to San Francisco start-up firm, Flybrix.

The company is offering drone kits, which feature LEGO bricks, motors, propellers, various airframes and more, to let enthusiasts build their own flying machine.

Once the drone has been built, users can control it using their phone and the companion app, which is available on both iOS and Android devices.

Two kits are available now from Flybirx, including a basic kit priced at $149 and a deluxe kit for $189.
