LEGO debuts Caterham Seven 620R car set

Fans of the Caterham Seven 620R car will now be able to build their very own model, thanks to LEGO.

The new set from LEGO Ideas boasts 771 pieces, a replica 620R engine and gear stick, engine cover, removable nose cone, steering wheel, an opening boot and axle stands.

Carl Greatrix, fan designer, said: “One of the most exhilarating drives I’ve ever had was out on the track in a Caterham Seven. It is brutally fast due to its lightweight and tremendous fun to be in. It really struck a chord in my heart that I never forgot."

Henrik Andersen, LEGO designer, added: “Carl really did a great job of converting the real car’s shape into a LEGO version as both the sloping front and the hood are really complex.”

Fans will be able to get their hands on the set from October 1st, for $79.99.
