US: Little Sport Star strikes deal with Toys R Us

British start-up Little Sport Star has signed a deal to brings its line of sports toys to Toys R Us in the States.

The company, founded four years ago by Nick Farnsworth, will be launching its new baby activity gym – which combines popular American sports such as baseball, American football, basketball and football – across the US thanks to a partnership with Kids Preferred.

“For a start-up, we are obviously delighted to be supplying probably the biggest specialist toy and baby store in America, if not the world," said Farnsworth.

“Our developmental toys are designed to develop babies’ coordination and motor skills, they are fun and friendly; they are also sports themed."

Little Sport Star toys are already available in the UK at Jo Jo Maman Bébé and the full range is distributed in the UK through Marbel.
