First trailer for Mattel’s Max Steel movie emerges

The first official trailer for Mattel’s long-awaited Max Steel live action movie has finally surfaced.

A live-action adaptation of the toy maker’s hit ‘90s Max Steel franchise, the title will see Ben Winchell take on the role of Maxwell ‘Max’ McGrath.

The movie – scheduled to hit cinemas on October 21st – follows the adventures of Maxwell who discovers the ability to generate strange energy and an extraterrestrial named Steel.

Rumours of the adaptation of Mattel’s hit ‘90s toy line – a title that was pushed back from release last year – first emerged a number of years ago with Twighlight’s Taylor Lautner attached to star.

Directed by Stewart Hendler and written by Christopher Yost, the movie features Andy Garcia and Maria Bello.
