Pop culture subscription service, Loot Crate has been named the fastest growing company in the US.
The firm – a fan-based community platform that sends listers a monthly crate of goodies inspired by popular entertainment brands – recently topped Inc Magazine’s run down of the fastest growing businesses in the territory.
Loot Crate placed first in a list of 500 fast growing private companies, beating the likes of LinkedIn, Domino’s Pizza and Timberland.
Moving beyond traditional subscription models, Loot Crate delivers themed mystery crates each month to a subscriber base of over 650,000 fans worldwide.
Since launching in 2012, the firm’s portfolio of curated crates has grown to include partnerships with Marvel, Disney, Lucas Entertainment, DC Entertainment, WWE, Sanrio, Halo and Gears of War.
“Loot Crate is incredibly honoured to rank number one on the prestigious Inc. 500 list as the fastest growing company in America. This recognition would not be possible today without the passion and vision of our employees, the trust from our amazing partners and our customers, who have provided the same level of loyalty and fandom as the very brands they follow in our crates,” said Chris Davis, CEO of Loot Crate.
“We believe this is only the beginning for Loot Crate, with limitless opportunities for us to further our growth and drive real impact with fan communities across all genres and geographies.”
