Spoiler alert: Dr. Black is probably going to be killed off.

Hasbro Studios teams with Fox to develop Cluedo movie

Hasbro Studios has teamed with 20th Century to develop a Cluedo movie (or Clue if you’re from the US).

Tracking Board reports that Josh Feldman, head of film development at Hasbro Studios, is producing along with Ryan Jones as exec producer. Daria Cercek is overseeing for Fox.

Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski was attached to the movie back in 2011 when it was at Universal, but there are no details as to who is helming the Cluedo movie now.

Cluedo has of course been given the big screen treatment before, with 1985 cult classic Clue starring Tim Curry.

While that adaptation featured the likes of Mrs. Peacock, Professor Plum, Colonel Mustard and Mrs White, time will tell to see if the latest movie reflects this year’s version of the game, complete with brand new character Dr Orchid.
