Mattel brings Monster High origins movie to US cinemas

Mattel has teamed with Fathom Events to bring the Welcome to Monster High movie to US cinemas for one day only.

On August 27th, fans can head to US cinemas to see the Monster High origins movie, get involved in Monster High dance classes and watch an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the partnership between Monster High and Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.

“We are thrilled to partner with Fathom Events to bring the origin story of Monster High to the big screen for fans all over the country,” said Andrea Carpenter, senior director of global content distribution, programming and marketing, Mattel.

“We know families will enjoy this Monster High movie celebrating inclusivity and acceptance.”

Fathom Events’ vice president of programming, Kymberli Frueh, added: “Mattel has created a fun story with powerful messages of tolerance and acceptance, which is so critical in today’s society.

"It will be a great experience for kids to see this event on the big screen and participate in the monster dance class with their friends."
