A videogame that rocketed to fame in the early Seventies has undergone a tabletop card game makeover now primed for launch in the US.
Based on the 1971 video game hall of fame title, The Oregon Trail, the card game has launched exclusively with US retailer Target.
Spotted in store by a Redditor the game has been described as ‘pretty faithful to the popular computer game’ by Oregon Live.
All cards are decorated with eight-bit imagery and features all of the videogame’s classic supplies such as oxen, bullets and food.
The game was reportedly part of a batch of Target exclusives that were launched somewhat under the radar earlier this month.
