A jukebox that employs toys-to-life technology to allow kids to listen to their favourite songs and albums has hit Kickstarter.
Called Jooki, the system has been billed as a ‘playful figurine based music player,’ that encourages children to engage with music by placing action figures on a ‘port’ similar to Skylanders, Amiibo and LEGO Dimensions.
Created by the Brussels-based MuuseLabs team, the WiFi connected speaker can stream music before playing it via the spill-proof and kid-safe speaker base, allowing kids to ‘share the magic of music’ with each other.
Jooki will come with a range of different tokens allowing to kids to listen to music and stories with their accompanying action figure characters.
The project has already secured €41,355 of its €50,000 Kickstarter goal and has 16 days remaining on the crowdfunding site.
