Power Rangers has climbed its way to the number five spot for boys’ action figures for June according to the latest NPD data.
The brand’s success for 2016 arrives in time for the launch of the new Power Ranger property, Dino Charge this summer.
New episodes of the TV series will begin airing on the hit kids’ channel Pop from September 5th in which the Power Rangers will continue their search for the Energems as well as unlock the Red Ranger’s T-Rex Super Charge.
A coinciding range of Dino Super Charge Rangers action figures, a Zord Builder and role-play toys are now all available at retail.
To celebrate the launch, Bandai has primed a comprehensive marketing campaign that will ask kids to Find Your Power with viral videos on the popular YouTube channel Gorgeous, presence on the popular Bin Weevils website in a six week campaign and more.
Elsewhere, Lionsgate’s Power Rangers theatrical movie edges closer to its spring 2017 release date, alongside the launch of a movie-based toy range from Bandai.
