Topps joins fans and celebs at Star Wars Celebration

Trading cards specialist Topps joined the likes of Star Wars icons Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill at this year’s Star Wars Celebration in London.

While the stars of the hit sci-fi franchise engaged with fans in a round of photo opportunities, Topps put on a host of activities and giveaways for digital packs for the Topps Card Trader.

A major attraction of the day, the Millenium Falcon Living Card experience was held in the Family Area, giving fans the chance to get their pictures taken inside a life-sized walk in card of the Falcon’s cockpit.

Topps’ Louise Ramplin, said: “We are delighted to be a part of such a fun event for all the family. It’s great to see so many people of all ages sharing a passion for our stickers and cards, as well as the Star Wars brand.

“The turnout of fans who had their picture taken at the Millenium Falcon Living Card Experience was outstanding. The atmosphere over the weekend was fantastic, thanks to special cast guests, promotions and costume character appearances.

“Fans of all ages have both rekindled and found a new love for Star Wars Topps stickers and cards, and the amount of goodies fans left with showed no danger of this slowing down anytime soon.”
