Anki Overdrive hits the road for UK city tour

Connected toy racing track system Anki Overdrive is hitting the road this summer for a tour of the UK.

Throughout July and August, the app-controlled racing car play-set that fuses videogame play with real world racing cars, will be visiting four cities in the UK.

Kids and fans will be able to get hand on with the Anki Overdrive system as well as take a sneak peek at the new Supertrucks ahead of the line’s launch this October.

Fans in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle will be able to race on a series of specially designed mega tracks as well as stand the chance to win a bundle of prizes.

The Anki Overdrive UK tour will kick off with a London event taking place at Westfield White City from Thursday July 28th to Sunday 31st.

It will then travel to Manchester for the dates Thursday August 4th to Sunday 7th, before hitting Birmingham Bullring on Thursday, August 11th to Sunday 14th.

The tour will come to a close at Newcastle’s Intu Eldon Square where it will be held from Thursday, August 18th to 21st.
