Hasbro boosts board of directors with new members

Hasbro has revealed it is bolstering its board of directors with two new appointments.

Hope Cochran (pictured left), former CFO of King Digital, and Mary Beth West (pictured right), executive VP and chief customer and marketing officer for J.C. Penney Company, will both be joining the team with immediate effect.

“Our business and our brands are stronger, more global and more pervasive than ever before, and I’m thrilled we’ve found two dynamic business leaders whose expertise will help us further deliver against our Brand Blueprint strategy,” said Brian Goldner, chairman, president and CEO of Hasbro.

Cochran brings more than 20 years of experience to the position, having worked at various companies including Deloitte and Touche, Red Pepper Software and Peoplesoft.

Plus, she also started her own company, SkillsVillage, which was acquired by PeopleSoft.

Prior to joining Hasbro, West served 28 years at Mondelez and predecessor Kraft Foods, where she was responsible for global categories, consumer insights and strategy and global sales.
