20th Century Fox to open fleet of The Simpsons stores in Asia

20th Century Fox has detailed its plans to open a fleet of new The Simpsons stores across Asia.

Following the successful launch of the first store of its kind in Taikooli Sanlitun in Beijnig, the firm is extending its partnership with HerChain Clothing Company to launch new shopping locations in Shanghai’s Grand Gateway 66, Xi AnWu Huan Department Store and Beijing’s Joy City.

The stores will feature over 125 specially curated items each invoking the distinctive style and spirit of the hit animated series.

The announcement coincides with the unveiling of a replica The Simpsons store at the 20th Century Fox Consumer Products booth at the 2016 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.

Attendees of the Licensing Expo will get a first-hand look at the merchandise featured at the current The Simpsons store location.

Peter Leeb, vice president of worldwide brand marketing, strategy and partnerships, 20th Century Fox Consumer Products, stated: “The new locations – in high traffic city centers and department stores – position The Simpsons to attract a wide and diverse composition of consumers.”
