Dracco has been named the UK distributor for a new range of LEGO Trading Cards based on the firm’s popular Ninjago brand.
The firm has detailed that following a very warm reception to the line in Germany where the card game made its debut with 500,000 units sold, that its ‘expectations are huge’ for the range here in the UK.
The LEGO Ninjago Trading Cards Game is the first release in the series for LEGO Trading Cards and is scheduled to hit retailers from August 24th.
The launch arrives as the UK’s demand for trading cards continues to grow, with the likes of Yu-Gi-Oh sales up 77 per cent on last year and Pokémon breaking new records with its trading card game as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.
There are three lines available in the LEGO Ninjago Trading Card Game collection, kicking-off with the Trading Card Booster Box of 24 cards priced at £1.00 each.
This is followed by the Trading Card Multipack with an exclusive card, priced at £4.99 and the Trading Card Starter Pack also priced at £4.99.
