Paul Lamond launches its Escape the Room game, The Mystery of the Stargazer’s Manor

Paul Lamond Games is tapping into a growing UK trend for Escape the Room challenges with the launch of its Mystery at the Stargazer’s Manor.

Demand for Escape the Room challenges first emerged online as digital adventures in which players were challenged to solve puzzles in order to escape a locked room.

The concept was quickly translated to the real world with physical room escaping challenges popping up across the UK.

Paul Lamond is now embarking on a new category of party gaming by bringing the challenge to the home environment with its first Escape the Room board game.

“This is a growing and exciting market and this type of game sits perfectly with our current portfolio,” said Richard Wells, managing director of Paul Lamond Games.

“As distributors of the Think Fun range, we are delighted to be the first to deliver this style of take home party event to the UK market and we are looking forward to releasing further titles later this year.”

The Mystery of the Stargazer’s Manor will see players attempt to unravel the mystery and save a well-known astronomer before time runs out. The game is designed for three to eight players aged ten and upwards.
