LEGO to launch The Beatles Yellow Submarine set

LEGO will be launching a The Beatles Yellow Submarine kit following a successful LEGO Ideas campaign.

LEGO Ideas is a platform where fans can pitch LEGO sets, and the firm will be launching two new sets this year following a review of projects submitted between September 2015 and January 2016.

Amateur musician and songwriter Kevin Szeto submitted the idea for the LEGO Yellow Submarine as a tribute to the iconic British rock band and the set includes the whole band as LEGO Minifigures.

LEGO also revealed it will also be launching a Apollo 11 Saturn V set following a successful campaign on LEGO Ideas.
