Sambro’s Nikki Samuels nears half way on 600km charity bike ride

Sambro’s Nikki Samuels is nearing the halfway mark in an epic 600 kilometre charity bike ride across France.

Together with Bobby Arora, owner of B&M, Simon Showman of Ultimate Products and Naresh Abrol from Union Property, the team dubbed The Pinarello Bikers have set out to raise £250,000 for Alder Hey Hospital.

The team is looking to complete the mammoth ride in six days, having started their cycle on Monday from Perpignan, finishing in Antibes.

The money raised will go towards purchasing much needed equipment for the specialist Children’s hospital.

“It’s going great so far,” said Samuels. “It is extremely tough on the legs but we are all keeping each other going along the way.

“We are doing this for a fantastic cause and that’s motivation enough to push us on. We cannot believe how generous people have been so far and we are less than £20,000 shy of our £250,000 target.

“We would like to ask our friends in the toy trade to share as much as possible. If you can donate anything no matter how small we would be extremely grateful.”
