Bandai to have more brands on offer than ever before at Toymaster 2016

At next week’s Toymaster May Show, Bandai will have more brands on offer than ever before.

The firm is boasting a bigger stand at this year’s event and will be showcasing new lines across Finding Dory, Power Rangers, Pinypon, Nenuco, Hatch N Heroes and Monchhichi.

"We have focused on offering great value, show stopping deals not only for the retailer but also for their customers," Amy Davolls, head of sales at Bandai, told ToyNews.

"We are also supporting our new launches with some eye catching FSDUs so please do come and see what’s new. Don’t miss the Power Rangers Photobooth in reception too for some photo fun."

Bandai’s Finding Dory highlights include the collection of Swigglefish characters, interactive feature plush, bath squirters and games, which will also be included in a show only deal to coincide with the DVD release in November.

"As the master toy licensee for this summer’s Disney Pixar blockbuster Finding Dory which has a predicted box office of over £45m, Bandai is a must see for our new collection of Swigglefish, playsets, plush and games," added Davolls.

"Our official market launch for Finding Dory was May 6th across a full range of action figures to role play and plush so we are now up and running. But the focus and major excitement is for the actual movie release on July 29th.

"I’ve seen the film and some of the new characters are going to be huge successes with the children and this will make them want their own. With our heavyweight marketing planned for the summer holidays on TV and cinema and supported by creative digital campaigns, we know that everyone will be talking about Finding Dory."

Elsewhere, Bandai is also excited about its Power Rangers line, with Dino Super Charge supported by a special launch promotion with FSDU designed especially for Toymaster members and featuring an exclusive catalogue line.

"We are delighted that we are now marking 22 consecutive years of Power Rangers in the top ten boys action properties and it is still in growth at 24 per cent YOY 2016," continued Davolls.

"2016 sees the brand sitting at number seven in NPD boys action and we are excited about the new Power Rangers Dino Super Charge series launching on POP this September. This all sets us up perfectly for our movie year in 2017 with the new release from Lionsgate."

Bandai can be found at next week’s Toymaster 2016 in the Carriage Suite.
