PEZ fan spends £20,000 on collection of up to 3,000 rare and classic toy dispensers

A life-long PEZ fan has spent more than £20,000 on his collection of 3,000 0f the popular toy and sweet dispensers.

The 31 year old, Adam Reynolds has said his passion for PEZ was ignited at the age of 14 when he was given a Simpsons-themed dispenser.

The pub manager has since gone on to build a collection of 3,000 and has spent an estimated £20,000 on a hobby that sees him check eBay each day for new listings.

Among his favourites, Reynolds highlights a 1950s PEZ gun for which he paid £90.

The Farnborough man is also adorned with a PEZ tattoo and is planning a trip to the PEZ factory in Vienna and the Burlingame Museum of PEZ Memorabilia.

“I reckon I have spent about £20,000 on [the collection] and every night when I get home from work, I check eBay for new listings," said Reynolds.

“My hope is to keep collecting for as long as the missus will let me get away with it.”
