The Entertainer partners with charity for Christian Aid Week

To mark Christian Aid Week this year, The Entertainer has revealed it will be teaming up with Christian Aid.

The annual fundraising event is held by the charity, and will run from May 15th to 21st this year.

As part of the deal, the retailer will help to raise money to provide worms and seeds that will help families in Bangladesh grow food.

The Entertainer will be acting as the official Key Communications Partner for the charity week, with various fundraising activities being held in stores across the country.

This includes the Big Brekkie event that will be held at the company’s headquarters in Amersham Bucks, as well as asking local schools to take part in the fundraising by offering store vouchers for schools that raise over £100 for the cause.

“Helping families in need around the world is part of our ethos at The Entertainer, and encouraging children across the UK to get involved is very important,” said Gary Grant, founder and MD of The Entertainer.

“We are looking forward to lots of activities taking place throughout Christian Aid Week and hopefully raising a lot of money for a very worthwhile cause.”
