New Hamleys Prague store gets makeover with Propability

Hamleys’ new store in Prague has been given a brand new revamp thanks to the toy store’s VM solutions and window display supplier Propability.

Working alongside Colin Morrisey, who heads up the London based VM team, Propability designed a castle to help showcase a range of princess toys to shoppers, as well as a series of chandeliers to decorate the store’s entrance.

The new store, which is located in Prague city centre, opened its doors on May 5th and also boasts a 2.5m tall, fibreglass-sculpted 3D bear climbing a 7m beanstalk and a talking, interactive tree.

Tyrone Cano, head honcho at Propability, said: “We have worked with Hamleys for over ten years and this project was hugely exciting for us.

“It is always an enormous pleasure working with Colin Morrisey. His creative vision, direction and drive are inspirational and this makes our job so easy. The talking tree allowed us to work with projected material for the first time and the Hamleys team in Prague, headed by Pavel Cmelik were truly amazing throughout.”

Colin Morrisey, head of brand design and VM at Hamleys, added: “Propability were the perfect choice of partner for us to work with on this project.

“The high quality sculpts and props they deliver and the friendly and professional service is exceptional. In my opinion they have excelled on the delivery of this highly important milestone for Hamleys, the solutions that Ty and the team brought to the project were truly inspiring and the results speak for themselves.”
