LEGO details new Porsche 911 GT3 RS set

LEGO has unveiled its latest model kit in the form of a Technic 1:8-scale Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

2,704 pieces are included in the set, and once it’s assembled the Porsche will boast functional doors, engine compartments and suspension.

A suitcase hidden under the bonnet is also included, along with a flat-six engine that features moving pistons.

The set even comes with a working gearbox, a dashboard with gauges, racing seats and a glove compartment that houses a unique serial number.

A collector’s book looking at the history of LEGO’s Technic and Porsche’s GT cars is also included with the set.

LEGO’s Porsche kit will set fans back $300, and will be available in limited markets from June, with a bigger rollout planned for August.
