The Entertainer to open new store in Bishop’s Stortford

Toy retailer The Entertainer is set to open a new store in Bishop’s Stortford this summer.

The store will open in Jackson Square on July 16th, with a trolley dash undertaken by a local charity to mark the occasion.

From 9am, there will also be a range of activities for guests to take part in, including character appearances, face-painting, in-store demos and competitions.

Grace Bagster, manager of Jackson Square, said: "We’re thrilled to announce The Entertainer is coming to Jackson Square. The store will be a great addition to the centre and I can’t wait for everything they have in store for their opening,” reports the Herts and Essex Observer.

Gary Grant, MD and co-founder of The Entertainer, added: "After experiencing such solid growth across the UK, we’re pleased to announce the opening of the Bishop’s Stortford store.

"Jackson Square continues to offer a strong retail position for our store as it attracts large number of family shoppers who are demanding more toy shopping choice on the high street and within shopping centres. We look forward to bringing joy and wonder to the children of Bishop’s Stortford."
