The news coincides with further developments in the US where MGA is currently working with Netflix in its commitment to the White House to help break down stereotypes in media and toys.

Off the back of the launch of the next two series of Project MC2 on Netflix, further product lines are scheduled to hit shelves this autumn n a campaign that will be backed by entertainment and TV support.

The brand launched globally in August 2015 to widespread acclaim, championed for its mix of smart characters and educational focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and maths.

The product line based on the show includes dolls and accessories with experiments that fans can do at home.
