MGA Entertainment’s Project MC2 will be making its return to Netflix later this year, following the success of its debut on the streaming platform.
The second season of the series that aims to encourage girls to take up STEM subjects will premiere on Netflix in August 12th, with the third season launching this Autumn.
The news coincides with further developments in the US where MGA is currently working with Netflix in its commitment to the White House to help break down stereotypes in media and toys.
Off the back of the launch of the next two series of Project MC2 on Netflix, further product lines are scheduled to hit shelves this autumn n a campaign that will be backed by entertainment and TV support.
Project MC2 follows a team of smart, popular girls who apply their love of science and sleuthing to complete missions for the secret organisation NOV8. The brand launched globally in August 2015 to widespread acclaim, championed for its mix of smart characters and educational focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and maths.
The product line based on the show includes dolls and accessories with experiments that fans can do at home.
