A Girl For All Time has passed its crowdfunding target to launch the firm’s latest range, Your Modern Girl.
The Kickstarter project for Your Modern Girl, a collection of contemporary dolls whose characters ‘refuse to fit into any stereotypes’, raised £20,551 of a £20,000 target.
The range of dolls will come from every walk of life and from different socio-economic, family and ethnic backgrounds.
"We want to create a new range of dolls that reflect the joy and freedom that come from being a young girl, with endless opportunities ahead of her, knowing that her choices are limited only by her imagination and determination," said A Girl For All Time founder Frances Cain.
"Maya is the first in our new range – she is a continuation of our historical Marchmont family tree into present day and is a direct descendent of Matilda, Your Tudor Girl, the first in our range of historical dolls."
Maya is joined by Nisha, with an additional 4 friends to follow after the initial launch of the range.
The Your Modern Girl line will start shipping between November 2016 and March 2017.
