Jakks Pacific launches Warcraft toys ahead of Universal Pictures’ movie release

Jakks Pacific has launched a full line of collectable figures and role-play items based on the upcoming Universal Pictures movie, Warcraft.

The full line debuts at Toys R Us stores across the US where the range of characters from the Alliance and the Horde will be available in various scales.

The full collection will be available at all mass retailers from June this year, coinciding with the release of the movie.

Based on Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft universe, the Warcraft movie is a 3D tale directed by Duncan Jones. To support the launch of the film later this year, Jakks has developed a line of Warcraft Big-figs, 2.5-inch figures and 20-inch figures.

“We are extremely excited to be the master toy licensee for the Warcraft movie,” said John Blaney, EVP marketing, Jakks Pacific.

“Our team worked closely with the filmmakers to create highly detailed figures and role play items true to the movie. Building and enhancing our extensive relationship with Legendary, we are thrilled for the launch and are looking forward to the release of the film this June.”
