MGA’s Project Mc2 in running to scoop a Daytime Emmy Award

MGA Entertainment’s Project Mc2, a S.T.E.A.M-inspired fashion doll brand and Netflix original show, has been nominated for an award at this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards.

Project Mc2 is in the running for Best Children’s Programming at the Awards, which takes place on May 1st.

“We are thrilled to have been nominated for such a prestigious award in the United States," said Marian Davis, marketing manager at MGA Entertainment.

"The Annual Daytime Emmy Awards are watched and recognised throughout the world so this is a really exciting development for the brand.

"The aim of Project Mc2 has always been to stimulate interest, particularly amongst girls, in S.T.E.A.M subjects through smart and savvy science-inspired and spy play. We created this brand to encourage the next generation of female scientists, engineers and mathematicians, so it’s fantastic to see it go from strength-to-strength.”
