NSPCC details this year’s Big Board Game Day

Children’s charity NSPCC has dated this year’s Big Board Game Day.

On May 27th, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is encouraging the public to set up their own game days to raise funds for the charity.

Sign up here to recieve a fundraising pack featuring ideas on how to raise money for the day – whether it’s playing a game for a day non-stop, tackling Operation dressed as doctors or hosting a bake sale of a board game-inspired biscuits.

There are different packs for getting involved at home, at work or in school.

"Here at NSPCC we held our own Big Board Game Day event last year," said Annabel from NSPCC.

"We had board games in our communal area for people to sit down and play. We encouraged a bit of competiveness between different teams. It was all good natured. As well raising more funds for our cause, the competition helped bring colleagues together."
