Hasbro renews McDonald’s partnership for Monopoly Prize Choice campaign

Hasbro has re-launched a partnership with the fast-food chain McDonald’s to bring its hit game Monopoly to UK fans of the Big Mac.

In a six –week campaign, the Monopoly Prize Choice game will offer consumers the chance to win over 55 million prizes, including the chance to snare a trip to California, Thailand or New Zealand.

McDonald’s hopes that the latest initiative will help to generate excitement around its 11 year partnership with the global entertainment company, Hasbro.

Steve Howells, head of marketing at McDonald’s, said: “For the 11th year of McDonald’s Monopoly, we wanted to re-invigorate the promotion and make it bigger and better than ever before.

“With millions of prizes to be won, the theme of choice is brought to life across all of our marketing activity, and we are hugely excited to be putting the power in the hands of our customers by allowing them to choose what our next TV advert looks like each week.”
